This afternoon, we went Jembo mission and Bible College. We were greeted by Pharnwell, Stanley and Ruben, the headmaster of the school. They gave us a tour of the school and the clinic. The school has shown drastic improvement under Ruben's leadership. The have become the 27th best performing school in the nation (out of approximately 500). When we were leaving at about 7:30 pm, there were students in a classroom being tutored! Obviously contributing to the success. Pharnwell is trying to get this implemented at all 11 schools operated by the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. Which is one of the reasons Dave is trying to get electricity installed in the classrooms. Staying the night in the mission house at Jembo Bible College.

This morning we said goodbye to everyone at Alfred's house. We packed and purchased supplies for the trip south to Monzee. We stopped in Mazabuka for lunch and then stopped in Brian's favorite store in Monze.

Sunday Evening
This evening we went to Zambia Council of Churches headquarters. We had dinner with around 30 people who work with Alfred at ZCC and also some of the students that are being sponsored at different Zambian universities. It was a great evening.

This morning we went to church at Kakoma Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. Most of the churches in Lusaka were not allowed to have services due to the cholera outbreak. Kakoma is located about 20 kilometers north of the Lusaka.
There were about 75 people in attendance. Several pastors from surrounding churches were also there. A representative of the Chieftess and the Member of Parliament were there too.
Brian gave a great sermon from Matt 4:18-22 on how to become a disciple. Everyone was so impressed with Brian's sermon, one of the visiting pastors gave Brian a goat! Another joined in and gave him a chicken!
After the sermon, the church leadership talked to the congregation about their goals for the next few years.
1. Winning 200 souls for Christ
2. Enlarge the church and obtain more chairs
3. Drill a well on the church property.
4. Build a school near the church.
After the Minister of Parliament heard the the goals, she said she would provide the well! And she said she'd have it completed in 2 weeks!
God was really moving in Kakoma today! We came back to Alfred's and passed out gifts. Then we took a tour of Muumbe's school while Alfred and Brian went to talk to a John Deere mechanic.

We just arrived in Lusaka. On time and all bags present and accounted for! Alfred, Chipo and Lumba met us at the airport. Alfred apparently has a houseful, so we are staying in a hotel in Lusaka for the night. A hot shower sure feels good after being in the same clothes for 30 hours!
