Wednesday 1/29/20 We started out towards the farm today. We stopped first to see Danforth and his family. Lumba met us there to show us the corn they and planted this year. It all looked good and if the rains continue should be a good crop. We then drove on over to see to where Darren used to live. He has take a job with a mission organization so had abandoned his house. Lumba is fixing it up for he and his family to live. His wife, Thondela has accepted a teaching position in Sibanyati School. This is only about 3 miles from their home on the farm. We then went to Siachitema Mission for a short stop and handed out some toy cars. The classrooms were full of happy children after receiving the cars. We then drove on out to Leonard's farm. He met us a short distance from his home in the red Chevy pickup. It was spotless, inside and out! As usual, his corn looked the best in the country. He had planted an orchard, had some hogs, installed a corn mill, was growing pigeons. He is truly diversified. We came back to Choma to eat supper at Lumba's house. His wife Thondella and her sister Mumbi had prepared a delicious meal for us. Muumbe was very excited to see her granddaughter Nandipa!
