This morning we drove out to look at some land for sale. The man had 3 wives and needed to sell off some of his farm! We rode with him down a bush road for about 3 miles. Brian was a little nervous when he shifted into 4th gear and all we could see ahead was grass taller than the hood! Alfred was surprised to learn that he had gone to Choma Secondary School with this man. Luckily Alfred and he didn't learn the same things about matrimony in school!

We left there and started toward Lusaka. We stopped in Mukwela and looked at their church and visited with the pastor. He was raising pigs in a small building in front of the church. Their current church has a thatched roof and rock benches.

We then drove to Kalomo and stopped by their church to see the benches Dave and Jim's team had built. They looked great and the pastor and his wife were very excited to have them! They were in the process of constructing a new children's building.

From there we drove to Choma to see the school supplies being distributed. Pharnwell had asked the schools to come to the Choma PWC Mission to collect their supplies and desks. There were 13 schools represented and either the principal or assistant principal of each was in attendance.

There were several trucks as well as cars and vans to haul the supplies away. There was a short meeting for the administrators to express their appreciation for all the help. The Zambia Post was also there to run a story.

We ate a late lunch in Choma and were surprised to see Wes and Lori and 10 of the kids from New Day Orphanage eating at the same place we were!

We left Choma and arrived in Lusaka for dinner and got back to Alfred and Muumbe's home about 9:30 pm.
