We arrived safely in Lusaka around 9 pm. While waiting in line to board the flight from JNB to LUN, Brian saw 2 young girls with Jayhawks on their shirts. Brian asked them where they were from and they said Kansas City. They were 4th year med students at KU and were doing a short rotation out of the US. They were headed to a mission hospital in the northern part of the country. We gave them a ride to Zambia Backpacker Hostel, where they were meeting 1 other KU med student to spend 2 nights and fly out Monday.
