Monday morning we walked over to look at Muumbe's school. The classrooms are all full and the children are excelling. The 7th grade just received their results from their exams and 100% passed! The ladies from Kanyama started harvesting the pumpkin leaves that Alfred had planted in his vegetable plot. The cabbages were not ready yet, but are going to be huge in a few weeks. We then went to look a some land that was given to the church a number of years ago. The land is outside of Lusaka 40 minutes or so and is underutilized. We talked about some ways to potentially utilize this land for the benefit of the church. We then went to meet the staff for the PWC national office and the ILISA national office. After lunch we went by the Zambia Institute of Special Education. They teach Special Ed teachers at this school. We gave them an 18 volume Braille Bible. They called a blind young man out of class who is learning to be a special ed teacher to come read to us. He goes to church but was reading the Bible for the first time in his life! There weren't many dry eyes in the room.
